"PATHWAYS TO BLISS"
How to find and follow your true self.
This class will explore several of the concepts
of bliss that Joseph Campbell has presented in
the book of the same title,a compilation of
many lectures given as Professor of Mythology
at Sara Lawrence College and seminars he
conducted at Cooper Union in the '60's and
'70's. We will clarify and expand upon his
main definition of bliss: ...the deep sense of
being present, of doing what you absolutely
MUST do to be yourself."
The book is not required reading for this class,
but will enhance the course by reading selected
chapters before each class. Books are available
at COTLL if you wish to obtain a copy.
